About me

Born and raised in Wisconsin, I moved to Chicago where I received my MFA in Creative Writing from Roosevelt University. At Roosevelt, I also I also taught English and served as managing editor for the Oyez Review literary journal.

My novel-in-progress has recently been workshopped at the Bread Loaf Writer’s Conference with Mat Johnson and at Story Studio with Abi Geni. My fiction and personal essays have appeared in Whitefish Review, Oakwood, and Blue World Literary Journal, among others.
