About me
Born and raised in Wisconsin, I now live in Chicago where I teach in Roosevelt University’s English Language Program. I received my MFA in Creative Writing from Roosevelt University in December 2023.
Before moving to Chicago to pursue my MFA, I worked as a program evaluator and policy analyst. I previously graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Master of Public Affairs as well as B.A.’s of English and Political Science.
I am an active member of several writing organizations, including the Chicago Writers Association and the Mystery Writers of America. I served as the managing editor of the Oyez Review and as an essay reviewer for Illumination Journal. My fiction, essays, and scholarly research have been published in a wide range of peer-reviewed journals.
